Happy Back-to-School Season!
I love this time of year–the slight chill in the morning air, the prospect of changing leaves and fiery hillsides, the fact that my kids are back on a regular schedule, meaning I can be on a regular schedule, meaning WRITING IS GETTING DONE, FOLKS!
In addition to writing alone at my computer, I’m thrilled to announce that I will be OUT IN PUBLIC on a panel at the Burlington Book Festival this year! My friend Margot Harrison, writer of the awesomely terrifying The Killer In Me, invited me to be on a panel with her and several other awesome authors, including Rachel Carter, Lee Gjertsen Malone, Jennifer Mason-Black, and Bethany Morrow, to talk about all things YA. The official billing is: “Beyond the Blockbusters: The Booming Market in YA and Middle Grade Literature.”
OOOOOOOH! AAAAAAAAAHHH!
Bring your questions! We’ll be in the Livak Ballroom of the Davis Center at UVM at 11:30am on Saturday, September 17th. We can’t wait to meet you!
